Sumit Agarwal

Sumit joined Exbo Group in 2024 as a Senior Associate on the CFO and Controllership team. He supports financial reporting and accounting operations for growth-stage clients, streamlines business processes, and manages full-cycle accounting responsibilities.

Before joining Exbo, Sumit was an AVP-2 at Apex Fund Services, focusing on Private Equity Fund Accounting. He also worked at Wipro Limited as a Business Finance Manager where he implemented process improvements and oversaw transactional activities, including the quarterly and yearly financial close, as well as budgeting and forecasting. His experience also extends to transaction advisory services with EY-GDS and PWC-IAC.

Sumit holds a B.B.A (H) in Finance from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He is a qualified Company Secretary and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Outside of work, Sumit is an avid Table Tennis and Snooker player, a keen traveler who enjoys discovering new places, and a passionate cinema enthusiast.
