Kay Bae

Kay Bae joined Exbo Group in 2025 as a Senior Associate on the CFO & Controllership Advisory team. In this role, he functions as an extension of clients’ finance departments—designing and maintaining dynamic models, delivering strategic financial insights, and spearheading critical ad-hoc initiatives. Kay ensures the timely execution of month-end close activities, supports robust financial reporting, and drives ongoing enhancements to operational workflows.

Prior to Exbo, Kay worked at Great Performances, where he played a key role in building and streamlining the FP&A function. Before that, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Gartner, leading a variety of finance and strategy-driven projects that informed key company decisions.

Kay holds a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in California and an M.A. in Economics from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. Outside of work, he enjoys learning and staying active through sports.
