Naima Shotonwa

Naima Shotonwa joined Exbo Group in fall of 2025 as a Senior Associate on the Human Resources team. She supports the full employee lifecycle, as well as oversees day-to-day in office management. Some of her responsibilities include leading the hiring process, facilitating performance review cycles, and building internal HR projects.

Before joining Exbo Group, Naima held roles as an HR Generalist, and later as an HR Data Analyst, at R1 RCM, a leading health tech company specializing in revenue cycle management. During her time at R1, she played a key role in enhancing the company’s Leadership Development Program by introducing innovative recruitment strategies, and spearheading employer branding initiatives through personal employee testimonies and utilizing Glassdoor. Naima worked with HR data from over 30,000 employees worldwide, honing her ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for HR business leaders. Over the course of two years, she gained hands-on experience across multiple HR functions; including Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and HR Analytics, and collaborated closely with HR Business Partners on strategic initiatives.

Naima graduated from University of Miami with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys hosting dinner parties, working out at Lifetime, and traveling the world.
