Swarup Chanda

Swarup joined Exbo Group in 2023 and currently serves as a Senior Associate on the Transaction Services team. In this role, he supports buy-side private equity and venture capital clients throughout the acquisition lifecycle, playing a key role in executing financial due diligence. He has contributed to several high-profile, multi-entity transactions at Exbo, including notable deals involving GroundWidgets, Launchpad, and others.

Before joining Exbo, Swarup was an Associate II at RSM, where he was involved in a wide range of financial due diligence engagements across multiple industries. Earlier in his career, during his Chartered Accountancy internship, he gained hands-on experience in internal audits, further strengthening his understanding of financial controls and processes.

Swarup holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Goenka College of Commerce, graduating with first-class distinction, and a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Calcutta. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant, certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Outside of work, Swarup is passionate about TV series and sports, and enjoys playing cricket, badminton, and listening to music.
