Ryan Steilen

Ryan Steilen joined Exbo Group in early 2025 as an Analyst on the CFO and Controllership Advisory team. In this role, he supports growth-stage clients with accounting processes and financial analysis, providing strategic insights on working capital management, forecasting and budgeting, fundraising diligence, board reporting, and other ad hoc analyses. 

Prior to joining Exbo, Ryan was a consultant with Deloitte Tax, where he specialized in advising clients on business transactions within the partnership sector, with a focus on IPOs and UP-C transactions. He also provided strategic guidance to private equity firms involved in the sale of complex tax receivable interests in portfolio companies. 

Ryan graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in both Finance and Accounting, as well as a MS in Accounting. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, keeping up with Chicago sports teams, and trying new restaurants.
