Ryan McGrady

Ryan joined Exbo Group in 2024 and is a Vice President on the CFO and Controllership Advisory team. He partners with founders, executives, and investors at growth-stage and lower-middle-market companies through periods of rapid growth, advising on fundraising, acquisitions and add-ons, cash management, financial planning, KPI development, investor reporting, and building scalable finance functions. He also leads clients through their annual financial statement audits. He has led engagements for more than 30 venture-and private equity-backed businesses across a range of industries, including healthcare, SaaS, and EdTech. That work has supported over $50 million in capital raises and several successful exits.

Prior to Exbo, Ryan led the financial modeling, forecasting, and controllership functions at PlayQ Inc. Before that, he worked at The Walt Disney Company in the Walt Disney Television Group and began his career in EY's assurance practice.

Ryan holds both a BS in Accounting and a MAcc degree from Penn State and is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, watching sports, and spending time with his family and friends. He currently resides in Weehawken, NJ with his wife, their son, and their dog
