Allie McWhorter

Allie McWhorter joined Exbo Group in 2021 and leads the  CFO and Controllership Advisory group, overseeing a global team of more than 45 professionals across the U.S. and India. She manages the firm’s FP&A, Controllership, Working Capital Management, and Accounting Transformation service lines—helping organizations elevate finance from transactional execution to strategic value creation.

With experience across more than 70 growth stage and private equity-backed engagements, Allie specializes in building scalable financial infrastructure, driving operational transformation, and enabling an investor-class finance function for acquisition or long-term growth. She has supported clients through over $200M in capital raises, transactions, system implementation, order-to-cash redesign, and audit readiness.

Allie also leads Exbo’s global delivery model strategy, including cross-border team structures, staffing design, and adoption of unified modeling, reporting, and workflow standards. Under her leadership, Exbo has completed complex finance system and reporting transformations and built cross-functional teams that have supported over 100 recurring client engagements. She is actively advancing the firm's use of technology and AI to strengthen insights, delivery quality, and scale across the  CFO and Controllership Advisory function.

Allie obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of North Georgia and is a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia. Her hobbies include photography, loving on her dog, and exploring any new place she can.
