Alex Kost

Alex Kost joined Exbo Group in 2025 as a Senior Associate on the CFO and Controllership Advisory team. He advises growth-stage companies across fintech, technology, and consumer industries, helping leadership teams strengthen their finance functions through forecasting, budgeting, reporting, cash management, and KPI development. Alex partners closely with clients to deliver actionable insights and provide strategic support tailored to each company’s needs.

Prior to joining Exbo, Alex was a Senior Associate on the Strategic Finance team at CAIS, a fintech platform that provides independent wealth managers with access to alternative investments. In this role, he focused on board and investor reporting, financial modeling, and scaling reporting processes in partnership with data teams. He began his career in business operations at Hammerhead, a cycling technology company acquired by SRAM, where he supported supply chain planning, financial operations, and global expansion.

Alex earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, where he competed on the Lightweight Rowing team. He is a licensed CPA in the State of California. Outside of work, Alex enjoys backpacking, cycling, running, and skiing.
